Measure rooms and areas, total them up, and add a waste factor and cost estimate — for flooring, tile, paint, turf or any project.
The Spaces tool turns room dimensions into a material and cost estimate: add each area, apply a waste factor for offcuts, and get a total you can actually order against.
Open Spaces. Name the project (e.g. Home flooring), pick a material — Flooring, Tile, Paint, Carpet, Turf, Concrete or Custom — and a measurement unit (feet, meters, yards, inches, cm).

Add a waste overage (0/5/10/15%) for cuts and offcuts, an optional price per unit area for a cost estimate, a material coverage figure, and a labor contingency. Paint jobs can switch to wall mode.
Add rooms or areas by name and shape (rectangle, etc.) with their dimensions. Each area's square footage computes on the spot — Living room 16×13 = 208 ft², Kitchen 12×10 = 120 ft² — and they sum into a project total with your waste and cost applied.

Use Save to keep the project or Share to send the full breakdown. Switch the unit system anytime and everything recalculates.
Buying flooring for a home. Priya measures three rooms — Living room 16×13, Kitchen 12×10, Bedroom 13×11. Spaces totals 471 ft², adds a 10% waste factor for cuts, and with a price per ft² gives her the material cost. She taps Share to send it to the flooring store.
Always keep the 10% waste factor for flooring and tile — it covers cuts, offcuts and the odd broken piece so you don't run short mid-job.
Enter the room's length and width and Spaces multiplies them for you (e.g. 16 × 13 = 208 ft²). Add multiple rooms and it sums the total.
Yes. Add a waste overage (5–15%) for cuts and offcuts, plus an optional price per unit area and labor contingency for a full cost estimate.
