How to convert currency & crypto
Convert between world currencies and cryptocurrencies at live rates — with auto-refresh, popular pairs and an offline snapshot.
The Currency and Crypto tools pull live rates when you are online and cache them for offline use, so a quick conversion is always one tap away.
Open Currency and enter an amount
Choose Currency from the sidebar, type an amount, and pick the from and to currencies. The converted value appears live at the current exchange rate — for example, 100 USD = 87.66 EUR.
Use auto-refresh or refresh manually
Rates update automatically (the Auto 1m toggle) and show when they were last updated. Tap Refresh for the latest, or swap the pair with the swap button. Popular pairs are one tap away.
Switch to Crypto for coins
The Crypto tool works the same way for cryptocurrencies — convert crypto-to-currency or crypto-to-crypto across the top coins, with official logos and live prices.
Work offline with a snapshot
When you go offline, the tool falls back to the last cached rates and labels them clearly as an indicative snapshot, so it never breaks — just confirm live before transacting.
Budgeting a trip abroad. Maya is travelling from the US to Europe. She opens Currency, enters 100 USD and sees 87.66 EUR at the live rate. She swaps the pair to check a €50 dinner in dollars, then relies on the cached snapshot once her phone loses signal on the flight.
Turn on Auto 1m so rates stay fresh without tapping refresh — and glance at the ‘updated’ timestamp before you trust a number.
